Intermediate Channel

Thermofriz provides metal based Intermediate Channel for Gypsum False Ceiling of size: 45mm, 0.9mm thick with two flanges of 15mm each from soffit at 900mm center to center.

Installation

The Panel will be fixed on GI perimeter channels of size 0.50 mm thick having one flange of 20 mm and another flange of 30 mm and web of 27 mm along the perimeter of the ceiling, screw fixed to brick wall/ partition with help of nylon sleeves and screws, at 610 mm center. The suspended GI intermediate channels of size 45 mm, 0.9mm thick with two flanges of 15 mm each from the soffit at 900 mm center with ceiling angle of width 25mm x 10mm x 0.50mm thick fixed to soffit with GI cleat and steel expansion fasteners. Ceiling section of 0.50 mm thick fixed to the intermediate channels with help of connecting clips and in direction perpendicular to the intermediate channel with center of 333 mm. Then screw fixed to the ceiling section with 25 mm drywall screws at 300 mm centers. Screw fixing is done mechanically either with driver screw or drilling machine with suitable attachment.
